It all began with our consult. I immediately fell in love with this couple, Jessica & Brian. We planned a fall engagement session in Golden Gate Canyon State Park and I was blown away by how open and willing they were to get the images we all wanted. It was a great day and I knew that their wedding would be special.
The day of Jessica & Brian’s wedding it was forecasted to rain the entire day, but what happened was gorgeous light and a slight breeze. It was a beautiful day at Della Terra Mountain Chateau. I swear this venue never disappoints!! We were even graced with beautiful creatures during the ceremony (seriously check out the group of deer!) And the reception details (honestly the ceremony details too) made me swoon. I’m STILL swooning and may have included a large amount of them below so beware it’s a lengthy post, but it will have you drooling! Future brides, take note! There’s a tone of fabulous inspiration headed your way!! The florals from Lace and Lilies and the cake from Daddy Cakes Bakery… holy cow! And of course paired with Della Terra’s reception room. I almost died. The details of their day were overwhelming and absolutely perfect. I couldn’t think of a better representation of their love and the beginning of their journey as husband and wife. It was even completed with signature cocktails and the warmest group of people. What a pleasure it was getting to be a part of this day.
Jessica & Brian, thank you so much for trusting us with your day. You’ve touched our hearts and left us inspired by your love. We wish you the best of luck with your move and know that your marriage will last for years and year. And then some more. The way you two love and respect each other truly is a sight. We’re honored to document it and look forward to watching it grow over time. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Stafford!!
Della Terra will forever hold our hearts <3
When we arrived for prep, these little guys were there to greet us!
A Stella York gown for the beautiful bride!
The groom gifted the bride this pretty little Mrs necklace
And the stunning bride to be! Jessica, you made a GORGEOUS bride!!
And this is where I lost it… the details were almost too much to handle! Lace and Lilies, you really outdid yourself!!
Hello bridesmaids!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Jessica chose that gorgeous color and sequined dresses for her ladies. I’ve always wanted a bridal party with sequins so I may have squealed like a little girl
Seriously, the florals!! DYING!Della Terra has made even more changes since we had last been there and it impressed us even more. There are endless opportunities for gorgeous photos here! I love this one of Jessica just outside of the reception hall.
A lush bouquet will always make my heart sing!
What a fun bunch of guys they were!
As we finished up the wedding party, we headed down to the ceremony site and what we found took our breath away for about 8th time that day…
We spotted a single deer just moments before the bride began to walk down the aisle with her dad, but we had no idea just how many were hiding in the brush just beyond… and gradually they began to make their way to the ceremony!
And there my friends are all our little guests I think there were 5 or 6 total, but just grazed right on through the ceremony.
One of THE happiest ceremonies!
Now this is a first kiss! WOO HOO!!
I’m telling you… the happiest!! My heart is so full!
was so much fun! Be still my heart!
The happy couple enjoying their signature drinks!
Oh my goodness… you two are just the cutest!
So thankful the newly weds gave us just a few more minutes to get this shot… it’s one of my favorites! I think it captures the essence of Della Terra so perfectly!
A fun twist on the guest sign in book!
Oh my… these were some of the most elegant tables we’ve gotten to photograph! How fantastic are the bronze centerpieces, the florals, and these menus. Excuse me while I go cry some more!!
The head table was so pretty and the light coming through… See what I mean about this place?!
And then the cake… at this point, I’m at a lose for words!
